The learned Advocate Shri Surve had preferred this Writ Petition on behalf of the Petitioner - Society, which was disturbed by the loud sound and music being played in the various social Ganesh Mandals, celebrating Ganesh Utsav and followed by Navratra Utsav. The District Administration has initiated certain steps to curb noise pollution. The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board has also initiated the steps.
