Mr. Patil, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, validation proceedings are pending with the Scrutiny Committee, Jalgaon. The same is not yet decided. The respondent Nos. 3 and 4 are intending to take adverse action against the petitioner.

Miss Patil, the learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that, the Committee has instructed her that, the validation proceedings of the petitioner would be decided within a period of six months.

Considering the fact that, since 2014 proceedings are pending with the committee, we pass following order. 4.

The Scrutiny Committee shall decide the proceedings in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 01.03.2017. The petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the said proceedings. The respondent Nos. 3 and 4 shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. Of course, the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 can take further action in tune with the judgment delivered by the Committee. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
