By this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have prayed for an order and direction against the respondents to release amount of compensation in favour of claimants of Village Palwan, Taluka and District Beed as per award dated 10.02.2017 in the interest of justice.

With the assistance of the learned counsel for the parties, we have perused the affidavit in reply filed by respondent no.6 which indicates that the Central Railway though at one stage proposed to acquire the land in question which is the subject matter of this petition, subsequently proposed not to acquire the said land. 3.

In our view, no relief thus can be granted by this Court in this writ petition. Writ petition is disposed off. The petitioners would 1/2
