In all these petitions, the petitioners who have already been awarded contract for web streaming have been apprehending and challenging the communication dated 09 September 2024, whereby interrupting their contracts prematurely, directions have been issued for undertaking a tender process for award of contract for the same work.

Both the sides are unanimous that in M/s. IT Services Versus Office of Chief Electoral Officer and Another, in Writ Petition No. 6010/2024 and companion matters at the Nagpur Bench, by the common judgment and order dated 18 October 2024, exactly in similar set of facts, with a further additional circumstance wherein pursuant to the same impugned communication dated 09 September 2024 fresh tender processes were initiated, a co-ordinate bench has quashed and set aside the self same communication dated 09 September 2024 and has even quashed the subsequent tender processes.

Even another matter from Nagpur bench was also disposed of for the self same reasons namely, Writ Petition No.
6269/2024 with connected Writ Petitions, by the order dated 21 October 2024.

In the light of above, for the self same reasons as have been recorded in the matter of M/s. IP Services (supra), all these petitions are allowed and the impugned communication dated 09 September 2024, is quashed and set aside.
