This petition can be disposed of by directing respondent nos. 1 to 4 to take decision on the applications tendered by the petitioners, claiming rental compensation in accordance with the policy framed by the State Government in that regard, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from today, and it is accordingly directed. 2.

On determination of amount of rental compensation receivable by the petitioners, respondent no.5 is directed to disburse the amount in accordance with such determination, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of decision on the applications by respondent nos. 1 to 4.
