It is submitted that the land of the petitioner is acquired under the award dated 22.9.2016. Part payment has been made to the petitioner No.1. However, the entire amount of compensation has not been paid and no amount under the award is paid to the petitioner No.2 also.

As per the affidavit filed by respondent No.5, the respondent No.5 has demanded the amount from the Government.

The respondents are bound to pay the compensation amount expeditiously as per the award.

The respondents shall pay the compensation amount to the petitioners as per the award under which their land is acquired, expeditiously, preferably within six months. Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
