By these applications the applicant - complainant is seeking early hearing of the appeals by placing reliance on the earlier orders passed by this Court. Admittedly, in the order dated 19th June, 2019, while granting leave to the appeals, this Court had recorded certain findings on the merits of the case and also observed that, the appeals might be heard finally at the stage of admission.

However, by subsequent order dated 17th July, 2019 this Court thereafter observed that, the matters be listed for hearing in due course. Though, I myself granted liberty to the appellant for filing applications for early hearing in all these matters on the ground that, he is 76 years old but there are so many old matters are pending since 2001. In the said order itself, it was clarified that, Court was taking appeals against acquittal only upto year 2004 at the relevant time. Today also there is no change in the circumstances. As such, no special case is made out for taking these appeals for early hearing. 2/3
