The petitioner is aggrieved by the acceptance of the nomination form of respondent No.3 for the reason that she does not have a washroom (toilet) and would, therefore, be prohibited from being elected as a member of the Gram Panchayat or continue as such in the light of the disqualification, which she may incur under Section 14(1)(j5) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act. 2.

This petition and the objections raised, is heard at 7.15 pm tonight. The date for withdrawal of nominations has already ended at 1500 Hrs. The third respondent, whose nomination form is accepted, is not before this Court, as this petition has been filed today and taken up urgently at 7.15 pm.
