This application is for extension of time granted by this Court by an order dated 20/09/2024, passed in Anticipatory Bail Application No.256/2024 and eight other applications. By this order, three weeks time was granted to applicants to file fresh anticipatory bail applications before the Special Court. Interim protection granted by this Court was continued till first date of actual hearing of the anticipatory bail applications so filed before the Special Court.

Learned counsel for applicants submits that applicants had applied for copy of the report filed by the Investigating

4248.24crapln (2) Officer. He is yet to receive the said report. In absence of the said report, applicants are unable to file anticipatory bail applications before the Special Court.

Learned APP has sought instructions from the Investigating Officer to make a statement that the report has been filed on 08/10/2024. It is, therefore, now possible for the applicants to obtain certified coy of the same and file anticipatory bail applications.

Hence, time granted to the applicants for filing Anticipatory Bail Application is extended by two weeks from today.
