The petitioner has a case that the government has granted 100% grant-in-aid by a decision dated 08.04.2015. In the said decision, the petitioner was also included. However, subsequent thereto by a resolution dated 16.10.2018, the 100% grant-in-aid was reduced to 50%. By the said resolution, the petitioner has also been affected. Therefore, the petitioner moved a representation to the government for restoring 100% grants on 08.01.2023 and 31.08.2023. The said representation is pending. He would submit that in identical cases, the decision of the government reducing the grant-in-aid from 100% to 50% have been considered by this Court in Writ Petition No.1775 of 2021 decided on 18.01.2024.

In view of the facts of the case and earlier view of this Court as mentioned above, we allow this petition by directing the respondents to consider the representation pending before them within two weeks from today.
