Applicant apprehends arrest in Crime No.220/2022, registered with Purna Police Station, Parbhani, for offence punishable under Sections 328, 273, 272, 188 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

FIR is lodged by Shaikh Wasim Shaikh Harun, PHC, B.No.1048 of Police Station Purna, alleging that secret information was received that two persons were involved in the sale of prohibited contraband in the State of Maharashtra. Accordingly trap was arranged at T-point, Tadkalas. At about 12:15 Hrs. two persons were found coming by motorcycle with a nylon white colour sack tied to their motorcycle. They were stopped. They disclosed their names as Shaikh Aejaz Shaikh Maheboob and Ayyubkhan Yusufkhan Pathan. Contraband articles worth Rs.14,600/- were found with them, which were seized. Name of applicant was disclosed by SVH

Heard learned advocate for applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for State. Perused the investigation papers.

Investigation in present crime is complete and chargesheet is filed on 17/11/2023. Applicant was granted interim protection and he has co-operated in the investigation. Nothing is to be recovered from applicant.

In that view of the matter, application is allowed by confirming interim protection granted to applicant vide order dated 27th September, 2023.
