PER COURT :- In the affidavit in reply tendered on behalf of respondent university, it is recorded thus:

I say that University has completed Third round of admissions on 27.9.2016 and filled up 325 seats out of total 326 seats of University quota. It has also been provided in Clause 8(xxi) of the Prospectus that the seats remaining vacant after 3rd round of admissions will be filled in during Special Round of admissions. Accordingly, the answering respondent notified the date of Special Round of admission for filling in the vacant seat seats (on

{2} wp 10608.16.odt account of cancellation of some admissions and vacancies of VCI seats) i.e. on 20.10.2016 and accordingly, seats are allotted to the meritorious candidates and if any vacancy exist due to non reporting of any allotted candidate, the wait listed candidates will also be informed in this regard. . . ." In view of the explanation tendered on behalf of the university as quoted above, grievance raised by the petitioner in the instant petition stands substantially redressed. The writ petition is disposed of.
