We have heard both the sides.

The petitioners' proposals have been kept pending by the committee apparently for extraneous reasons. We are embolden to state so for a simple reason that though the committee was comfortable in undertaking of the vigilance enquiry in common as regards these two petitioners and one Mahesh Manoj Gadamwad, though they all had submitted a common and joint reply to the vigilance report, Mahesh's matter alone was decided by the committee, which subsequently we have quashed and set aside. For the reasons best known to the committee, the petitioners' matters were held back when even their proposals could have been decided with the same reasoning simply incorporating their names in the title but the committee 1/2

935 WP 11514 OF 2024.odt has not done that.

Be that as it may, we dispose of the writ petition directing the committee to decide the petitioners' proposals in any case on or before 21.10.2024. The petitioners may appear before the committee on 16.10.2024.
