Miss Talekar, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that now the application filed by the petitioners is for the years 2018 to 2020. They are not considering the application on the ground that matter is subjudice before this court. 2.

Mr. Karlekar, learned A.G.P. submits that after two years the petitioners have to avail fresh accreditation. Fresh accreditation is

2 wp 12024.17 granted on the basis of the newspapers printed in the last year. The petitioners have to apply for fresh accreditation and not renewal.

The application of the petitioners may be treated as an application for fresh accreditation. If some compliance is needed for treating the application as a fresh application for accreditation the petitioners shall comply the same.

It is submitted that petitioners are in the business of printing and publishing newspapers since many years. If the petitioners had an accreditation for early years that would be sufficient to show that the petitioners are doing the business of printing and publishing since many years.

The respondents may treat the application as an application for fresh accreditation and if certain compliance are required to be made by the petitioners in fresh application the petitioner

3 wp 12024.17 shall comply the same. Upon compliance being made for fresh accreditation the respondents shall decide it. The petitioner shall appear on 2nd August, 2018, with all the documents as will be required for treating the application as an application for fresh accreditation. With these observations, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
