The learned Registrars of this Court have found that the present petitioner is competent to work out his case and address us ably. Therefore, a certificate was issued on 09/11/2022, permitting the petitioner to address us.

The petitioner is aggrieved that the order of the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Mumbai, dated 19/03/2012, has not been complied with by the respondent/Secretary to the Finance Minister, Department of Economic Affairs. He has, therefore, approached this Court to grant him Rs.50,00,000/- compensation for the disobedience of the order and direct the

12385.22wp (2) respondent to immediately execute the order of the learned Tribunal, dated 19/03/2012, passed in O.A. No.159/2012. 3.

We are of the view that the Contempt of Courts (C.A.T.) Rules 1992, have been framed under Section 23 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Section 17 of the Administrative Tribunal Act, 1985. The petitioner has a remedy of approaching the Tribunal for pointing out the disobedience of the order of the Tribunal and seek consequential order under the Contempt of Courts (CAT) Rules, 1992.

The petitioner submits that, he would approach the Tribunal and raise a grievance of it's order being disobeyed. 5.
