The learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to avail of the alternate remedies available under the law.

The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with the liberty aforementioned.

So as to enable the petitioner to avail of the alternate remedies available under the law, we grant the petitioner protection for a period of fifteen days from today. The respondent - Municipal Corporation is directed not to take any coercive action against the petitioner for a period of fifteen days from today. It is clarified that this Court has not considered the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioner in the instant petition and it would be open for the alternate forum to decide the matter on its own merits in accordance with the provisions of law.
