By this petition, the petitioner, who has tendered her claim of belonging to Mannervarlu (27) Scheduled Tribe for validation to the committee on 27th June, 2022, when she was already in the 12th standard, prays that the committee should decide her claim with electric speed.

The learned AGP submits that the committee, which is overburdened with students cases and is dealing with thousands of cases in which the High Court has passed orders expediting the decisions, will require atleast six months to decide this case.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's 12th standard result would be delivered in June 2023. Thereafter, the entrance exam would be conducted, and thereafter, if she secures admission to any professional course, whe would have to tender a validity certificate.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with a direction to the committee to decide the pending claim of the petitioner, on or before 31st May, 2023. The committee would not seek extension of time. The petitioner shall render co-operation to the committee and would refrain from seeking adjournments on unreasonable or trivial grounds.
