Heard both the sides. This is a third round. By the latest order passed by us in Writ Petition No.6482/2023 on 19.06.2023 we had remitted the matter back to the scrutiny committee for passing appropriate order on the petitioner's application, whereby, he had sought to examine few witnesses. Unless the scrutiny committee takes up the matter and passes an order on the petitioner's application the inquiry cannot proceed. 1/2

We dispose of the petition with following directions : i.

The petitioner shall appear before the scrutiny committee on 17.10.2023 and the Committee shall pass order on his application, whereby, he has sought to examine few witnesses as expeditiously as possible and in any case within two weeks from the petitioner' s appearance before the Committee.

ii The committee shall thereafter dispose of the petitioner' s validation proceeding as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four months thereafter.
