Present petition has been filed for directions to respondent No.1 to forthwith decide the Gram Panchayat Appeal No.27 of 2025 filed by respondent No.3 before him. Learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that in view of order dated 13.03.2025 in Writ Petition No.3222 of 2025, it was expected by respondent No.1 to complete the hearing on 20.03.2025 and to pass an order as early as possible. Learned AGP waives notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and upon instructions from respondent No.1, she submits that the said appeal would be decided within a period of one week.

Now, we do not want to go into the aspect as to whether it is a deliberate act on the part of respondent No.1 to withhold the decision. Since he has made the statement now, we are taking it as undertaking. We dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No.1 to decide the Gram Panchayat Appeal No.27 of 2025 within a period of one week from today.
