The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the proposal is submitted for start of VIIIth standard. The Education Officer had recommended it and forwarded it to the Deputy Director of Education (Primary). The Deputy Director of Education (Primary) in turn forwarded the same to the Director of Education (Primary). However, no further steps are undertaken.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions

2 wp 1691.17 states that, the said proposal is presently with the Director of Education (Primary).

The Director of Education (Primary) shall after assessing the said proposal forward it to the State within a period of four

(04) weeks from today and thereafter the State shall take decision upon the same within a period of three (03) months. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
