The petitioners are before us soliciting the writ of mandamus directing to respondent No.2 to decide the statutory dispute raised by them under Section 14 (1)(J-3) read with Section 16 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1958 pending with them since October 2023. 2.

Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that respondent No.2 would decide the proceeding within 60 days. We accept the statement as an undertaking to the Court and with that as a direction dispose of the writ petition.
