Heard. By this writ petition, the petitioner, who is working with the respondent No.3- employer, is seeking direction that the caste claim of the petitioner, which is pending with the respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee, be decided expeditiously.

Considering the fact that there is apprehension of

coercive action against the petitioner for non-submission of the validity certificate, we direct the respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of one month from today. Till the decision of the Caste Scrutiny Committee, the services of the petitioner shall not be terminated. We make it clear that the protection granted by us shall operate only till the decision by the Caste Scrutiny Committee. Writ Petition stands disposed of. (ABASAHEB D. SHINDE, J.) (R.G.
