It appears that relying upon the statement made by the counsel appointed for respondent/Corporation that the Corporation has complied with the directions of which disobedience was alleged, the Contempt Petition was disposed of.

Admittedly, as on today also the interest amount is not paid by the respondent/Corporation. In that view of the matter, the statement made by the advocate for the Corporation, on instructions, and also affidavit filed by the respondent was not the correct position about the compliance of the directions/orders of which disobedience was alleged in the Contempt Petition.

The Review Application is, therefore, allowed. Contempt Petition No. 279 of 2015 is restored to its original file.
