The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad by his letter dated 31st January, 2015 has forwarded the proposal of the petitioner with recommendation to open new English School at Aurangabad.

The learned A.G.P. appearing the Respondent/State is not in a position to

11536.15WP state as to whether the said proposal is considered and decided. In that view of the matter, we direct Respondent No.1 to take decision on the said proposal, in case such decision is not already taken, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within four weeks from today.

We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the said proposal and it is for Respondent No.1 to take appropriate decision in accordance with the Government Policy and communicate the said decision to the petitioner.

The Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

The parties shall act upon an authenticated copy of this order.
