CORAM : NITIN B. SURYAWANSHI AND VAISHALI PATIL-JADHAV, JJ.
DATED : 4th NOVEMBER, 2025.
ORDER :
.
This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed seeking following reliefs :- "B) By issuing writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in like nature the respondents may kindly be directed to re-allot or restored the signal camp slum area to the petitioners who were illegally evicted by the respondent No.3.
C) By issuing appropriate writ order or directions in like nature the respondents No.2 & 3 may kindly be directed to decide the representations (Exh-C) made by the petitioners to the respondent authorities within a stipulated period." 2.
It is informed that after filing of the petition road is constructed on the site from which the petitioners were dispossessed. The petitioners are also rehabilitated at an alternative site.
11049.2014WP.odt 3.
Petitioners make a grievance that the place at which the petitioners are rehabilitated is far away from the city. 4.
This grievance of the petitioners is misplaced and misconceived. Since the road is already constructed and petitioners are rehabilitated, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. The petition, is therefore, dismissed.
