We have considered the submissions of the learned advocate representing the petitioner and the learned AGP appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2. None is present for respondent No.3, though the said respondent is supporting the petitioner.

In response to the request of the Education Officer, the Deputy Director of Education, Nashik, conveyed vide communication dated 06.05.2021 to the Education Officer/ respondent No.1 to take a decision with regard to the appointment of the petitioner as a Headmaster, on the merits of

*2* 974wp13955o21 his case. Yet, it is practically 11 months post the said communication, that no decision has been taken. 3.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off by directing respondent No.1 to take a decision as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 31.05.2022 in the light of the advise of the Deputy Director of Education vide communication dated 06.05.2021.
