The petitioner claims to be a Businessman and Ex-Corporator. He is aggrieved by the fact that those authorities, who were sent on deputation, in view of the lumpy skin disease that was prevalent amongst animals, have not be repatriated, though such deputation was cancelled. They have not been sent back to their original positions.

He has tendered a representation to the Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, on 18.10.2022 and prays that the said Authority may take a call on the representation.

The learned AGP submits that if this Court is inclined to direct the Principal Secretary to deal with the representation, reasonable time may be granted.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect respondent no.1 to consider the representation put forth by the petitioner, dated 18.10.2022 and issue appropriate orders or directions as may be deemed appropriate, if the said representation is not yet dealt with. Let this exercise be completed, on or before 31.01.2023.

We make it clear that we have not drawn any conclusion as regards the locus standi of the petitioner to file this petition, which issue is left open.
