3] We have perused perused the petition. From the prayer clauses, it appears that the petitioner is seeking appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to declare the post of President of the Municipal Council, Beed, as a post reserved for Scheduled Caste category in the elections, which were scheduled to

WP 81/2017 - 2 - be held in 2016. It is an admitted position that the said elections are over.

4] Reserving the right of the petitioner to take appropriate steps to challenge the said elections, if permissible in law, the petition is disposed of. No costs.
