CORAM
: MANGESH S. PATIL, J.
DATE : 20 JULY 2022 PC :
The petitioner is the borrower of the respondent no. 3 - credit society. He is aggrieved by the rejection of his revision preferred under section 154 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 (MCS Act) for non-compliance of the condition prescribed under subsection 2-A. 2.
I have heard learned advocate for the petitioner. 3.
Admittedly, the petitioner was noticed and heard before the recovery certificate was issued under section 101 of the MCS Act. He had preferred the revision. It was imperative for him to comply with the condition so as to enable the revisional authority to entertain his revision.
2 WP / 2746 / 2020 4.
No fault can be found in the order passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar in refusing to entertain the revision for non-compliance of the mandatory condition.
5.
Writ petition is dismissed.
