The limited grievance raised in this petition is, a representation made by the petitioner to the Education Officer for grant of higher pay scale was not decided and, therefore, the same was referred to the respondent No.2 - Deputy Director of Education. In turn the Deputy Director of Education on 06.09.2021 has directed the respondent No.5 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Parbhani, to take decision in accordance with provisions of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of

2 964.WP.1289.23.odt Service) Rules, 1981. It is pointed out that the said communication is still under consideration before the Education Officer (Secondary) Zilla Parishad.

In the light of that, we direct the respondent No.5 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Parbhani to take decision on the said correspondence addressed by the respondent No. 2 - Deputy Director of Education, Aurangabad Region Aurangabad, in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from today. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
