Learned Assistant Government Pleader, appearing for Respondent-State, on instructions, informs that the last date prescribed for admissions to medical course was 30.09.2016 and after the cut-off date, six seats were available. However, since the programme cannot be persuaded further, those seats have lapsed. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner controverts the contention and contends that there are certain seats available.

The version put up by the State Government is liable to be accepted. Even otherwise, the petitioner, who is placed

Petition is devoid of substance. Writ Petition stands dismissed.
