This petition seeks direction to respondents to initiate and complete the acquisition process as per Right To Fair Compensation And Transparency In Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation And Resettlement Act, 2013.

Affidavit in reply is filed by respondents No. 1 to 4 stating therein that acquisition proceedings are initiated and conducted under the New Act of 2013 for which sanction is granted by acquiring body on 07.12.2017. It is further stated in the affidavit that demand of Rs. 10,34,89,000/- is raised with the acquiring body. Bhagyawant Punde

Learned advocate for the petitioner informs that the award is ready.

Leave to add acquiring body as party respondent. Amendment to be carried out during the course of the day. 5.

Issue notice to the added respondent.

Learned AGP waives service of notice for the added respondent.

The respondents shall complete the acquisition process and pass the award within four weeks from today and pay the compensation to the petitioner within eight weeks thereafter. 8.
