It is submitted that, as per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 (for short "Act of 2013"), the proposal is forwarded by the acquiring body. The demand has been made to deposit the amount so that acquisition proceedings can be initiated and award could be passed on receipt of the amount.

In view of the above, as further progress has taken place under the provisions of the Act of 2013, the same shall be completed expeditiously and preferably within the time
