Heard.
Perused police papers.
We are certain that serious crime was committed. As many as 833 bags of soybean worth more than Rs.17,00,000/- were stolen from a godown. The godown keepers were arrested. But the police could not detect as to where the stolen goods were sent. The investigation is inconclusive so far. Nonetheless, we are not inclined to hold that there is no case against the Petitioner. The Petitioner was arrested and was released on bail. We are hopeful that investigation would result into detection of the crime. In case the crime is not detected, the
906 wp.1394.15.odt Police would not be able to file charge-sheet against any accused. We are not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, the criminal writ petition stands dismissed.
The Petitioner is at liberty to file discharge application, if chargesheet is filed. [ INDIRA K. JAIN, J. ] [ A. V. NIRGUDE, J. ] ndm
