The grievance of the petitioner is that validation proceeding in respect of his caste claim is pending, however, the examination form of the petitioner is not being accepted.

Mr.Sant, learned counsel appears for

2 W.P.No.12240/17 Respondent No.3 and submits that last date of accepting examination form along with late fees is 28.9.2017. The Respondent No.2 Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within one year. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

The Respondent No.3 shall not refuse to accept the examination form of the petitioner only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending.

Considering the fact that last date is over. In case there is no other impediment, the Respondent No.3 shall accept the examination form of the petitioner if filed by 11.10.2017. The petitioner shall pay the late fees as demanded by the University.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
