The Petitioner has put forth prayer clauses C and D as under :- "C. By issuing Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in the like nature, the communication dated 31.08.2023 issued by the Respondent No.3 University to the Respondent No.4 be quashed and / or set aside and for that purpose necessary orders be pass.

D. By issuing Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions to the respondent No.3 be directed to sent external Peer Review Committee for extension of tenure of the Petitioner as Principal for further five years as per the proposal submitted by the respondent No.4 Institution dated 02.06.2023 and grant an approval to the khs/Oct.2023/12506

- 2 - extension of the tenure of the Petitioner as Principal for one more term or till his retirement due to his age of superannuation whichever is earlier and for that purpose necessary orders be pass." 2.

The learned Advocate Mr.Malte representing the University/Respondent No.3, has addressed the Court through the Video Conferencing facility and submits that steps have been initiated in furtherance of the procedure as is applicable. A decision would be arrived at shortly and the Petitioner'

s grievance would be considered. A nominee has already been appointed on the Peer Review Committee. 3.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that this Petition can be disposed off.
