Proposal for raising intake capacity of petitioner Nursing School is forwarded to the State Government with recommendations of Registrar, Maharashtra Nursing Council on 15-12-2015 and no decision as yet has been taken by the State in that behalf. The petitioner is required to tender an application seeking renewal/validity from Indian Nursing Council before 30-11-2016 and Essentiality Certificate from the State Government is required by the Indian Nursing Council. 2.

In the circumstances, this petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to State Government i.e. respondent No. 1 to take appropriate decision on the proposal tendered by the Registrar of Maharashtra Nursing council on 15-12-2015 concerning the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within period of four weeks
