The Petitioners have put forth prayer clause [B] as under:- "[B] This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to ensure completion of final Selection for IAS nomination from amongst Non-State Civil Services in the State before 31.12.2023, in order to ensure that, eligible and deserving aspirants are not deprived from being considered for IAS nomination."

The learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that this Court may call upon the Respondents to complete the

(( 2 )) 968-WP-12339-2023 procedure, if there is no legal impediment as the final selection for IAS nomination from the Non-State Civil Services in the State is to be completed, before 31.12.2023. The said process had been taken up prior to 2019, but was subsequently, aborted. 3.
