The communication dated 15.7.2016 by the Deputy Secretary Maharashtraaa State to the District Supply Officer, Beed is placed on record, wherein it is stated that in respect of 7 Districts which were excluded, the decision would be taken as to whether in these 7 Districts also the contract system shall be made applicable or the District Supply Officer shall be registered as owner and get the Hamals from the Mathadi Board for getting the work done will be decided. The same would be for a period 2017-2020. 3.

In view of the said communication that the decision in

respect of the excluded 7 Districts would be taken, we dispose of the Writ Petition expecting that the decision would be taken expeditiously as is stated in the letter dated 15.7.2016 (Exh.R-1) prior to the implementation of the scheme from the year 2017 onwards.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
