On 07/10/2019, this Court had passed the following order :- "1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that though possession of land of petitioner is taken in the year 2008, acquisition proceedings are not initiated.

2. Issue notice to respondents returnable on 9th December, 2019. Learned AGP waives service of notice on behalf of respondents no. 1 to 3." 2.

We have considered the submissions of the learned Advocates for the respective sides and have gone through the petition paper book.

The learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that, the

12242.19wp (2) proposal has already been forwarded to respondent No.2. The rate at which the compensation is to be computed, is also fixed. 4.

The learned AGP submits that, in the event of the District Committee having still not settled the rates, the same will be done on or before 21.10.2022 and thereafter, the sale deeds would be executed. However, if the rates have already been fixed, the sale deeds would be executed within a period of three months and consequentially, the amounts would be paid to the petitioners. 5.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed off with the following directions :- (a) In the event, the acquiring body has not submitted the proposal to the District Collector, the same shall forwarded until 15/07/2022. Thereafter, the rates would be fixed, on or before 31/12/2022.

(b) In the event of the proposal having already been received and the rates having been fixed, the sale deeds would be executed on or before 30.07.2022 and accordingly, the payments would be made to the petitioners. (S. G. DIGE, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.) sjk
