The validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner is pending since November, 2016 with the Respondent No.2 Committee. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Respondent No.4 is insisting for validity certificate or else adverse action would be taken.

The Respondent No.2 Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within one year. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

The petitioner shall not be refrained from appearing in examination and prosecuting her studies only on the ground that validation

3 W.P.No.12338/17 proceeding is pending. Of-course, the petitioner will not be entitled for degree certificate unless and until the validity is granted.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
