The applicants are the original claimants who have lost their lands and are not seeking enhancement of compensation but seeking interest on the amount of compensation by challenging the order passed by the Reference Court.

For the reasons mentioned in the applications, the delay of 1717 days is condoned subject to the condition that the applicants/appellants in both these applications shall not be entitled to claim any interest for the period of delay.
