It is submitted that petitioners have been awarded certificate of excellent work, however, they are not given the benefit of additional increments.

We have heard the learned A.G.P.

In case, the petitioners are awardees of the excellent work prior to 24.08.2017, then the authorities of the Zila Parishad after confirming that the petitioners are issued with certificates of excellent work, shall

15,16,35 consider the case of the petitioners for additional increments as laid down under the Government Resolution governing grant of additional increments to the excellent work awardee teachers. The same shall be decided on its own merits within a period of six months from today. 4.

It is made clear that the Government Resolution dated 24.08.2017 does not have retrospective operation and will not be applicable to the teachers who have been awarded certificate of excellent work prior to the said Government Resolution.

Writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
