The petitioner is awaiting appointment on compassionate ground in place of his father. It is being pointed out that though the petitioner's father was senior, compassionate appointment has been granted to someone who was legal heir of a person junior to the petitioner's father in spite of petitioner's claim being earlier one. His representation has been pending with respondent No.1/Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Dhule (Exhibit 'A') since 02/09/2009. 2.

We dispose of this writ petition directing respondent No.1 to consider the application of the petitioner (Exhibit 'A'), dated

12458.24wp (2) 02/09/2009 and take appropriate decision on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six weeks from today.
