The grievance of the petitioner is that application seeking caste certificate filed by the petitioner as belonging to Chapparband caste is pending with the Respondent No.2 since 2014. The same is not yet decided.

Learned A.G.P. states that in case the said application is pending, the Respondent No.2 would take decision upon the same on its own merits.

In light of the above, we pass the following order :

a) In case the application of the petitioner seeking caste certificate is pending with the Respondent No.2 then the Respondent No.2 shall take decision upon the same on its own merits in accordance with law, preferably within three (3) weeks. b) The Writ Petition is accordingly allowed.
