When the matter is called out, none appears for the respondent No. 7 though served.

The grievance of the petitioner is that, in the school leaving certificate and S.S.C. certificate wrong name is recorded. Instead of Nikhil Vijay Patil, his name is recorded as Shrikrishna Vijay Patil. The learned counsel submits that, even in the Gazette change of name is recorded. His correct name as Nikhil Vijay Patil is required to be recorded.

In fact, if any such change is required to be made in the school record or S.S.C. certificate issued by the board, the petitioner has to route the said application through the school. 4.

The petitioner shall file appropriate application with the respondent No. 7/school. On receipt of the application, the respondent No. 7 shall along with its noting forward the said application of the petitioner to the respondent No. 3. The respondent No. 3 after making enquiry as it deems fit communicate its decision to the board. The said exercise shall be done expeditiously. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
