The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the appeal filed by the petitioners with regard to the valuation and compensation is pending with respondent No. 3 since December, 2016. The same is not yet decided.

In case the appeal is filed by the petitioners and the same is pending with respondent No. 3, and if the respondent No. 3 is competent to decide it, then the respondent No. 3 shall decide it on its own merits in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of nine months.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
