The applicant apprehends arrest in Crime No. 351 of 2022, registered with Satara Police Station, Aurangabad, for offences punishable under sections 420, 468, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

First Information Report is lodged by Mohit Trivedi alleging that the applicant and another accused Yogesh cheated him by obtaining amount from him for depositing it with the income tax department. Though, huge amount was obtained from him for depositing it with the income tax department, accused persons did not deposit entire amount and only Bhagyawant Punde
{2} 909.2-ABA-1551-2022 deposited meager amount. Thus, he was deceived for Rs. 4,91,030/- by the applicant and other accused. 3.
Heard the learned advocate for the applicant, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents and learned advocate for informant. Perused the investigation papers. 4.
Prima facie, it appears from the investigation papers that co accused has committed the offence and the present applicant has not played any role in commission of alleged offence. Entire transactions were done by co-accused and the applicant has not played any active role. The applicant being women and as she has co-operated in the investigation, she deserves protection.

The application is allowed in terms of interim order dated 22nd November, 2022.

Till filing of charge sheet, the applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by the investigating officer. The applicant shall not tamper the prosecution evidence.
