By this petition, a limited prayer has been made by the petitioners, seeking a direction to respondent No. 2 - Scrutiny Committee, for an expeditious decision of their respective caste claims pending since 09/07/2025 and 08/07/2025.

Considering an innocuous nature of the prayer, and without entering into the merits of the case, we deem it appropriate to direct respondent No. 2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of he petitioners on their own merits and strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six months from today.

In view of the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
