In the instant matters this court has granted interim stay on 12.06.2015 and on 25.02.2016 and thereby granted interim stay subject to deposit of the amount under the award within fifteen and twelve weeks respectively. Since the amount was not deposited within the given period stay so granted stood automatically vacated.

The learned A.G.P. submits that, he has now received the amount of compensation and the cheque so received will be deposited in the registry within a week. The learned A.G.P. has, therefore, prayed for extension of time to deposit the amount of compensation and has further prayed for revival of the earlier order passed by this court thereby granting stay to the execution of impugned award. Hence the following order.

ORDER

i) The time to deposit the amount is extended. ii) Registry to accept the cheque/s for the amount of compensation.

iii) The execution of the impugned award shall stand stayed till the decision of the present appeal, subject to deposit of the amount.

iv) Civil applications disposed of.
